No fan of Cruz, but stop and think about some things... He left before the rain. He's overseas when it happens. No one knew how bad it would be. What can he do that he can't do remotely? Are you expecting him to go searching? He wouldn't do that if he was there!

Sorry for my delayed response. Really hoping you can help me understand, because I’m not. Where I’m coming from is, should all Russians feel responsible for Ukraine? All Indians for Pakistan? All Israelis for Gaza? There are things citizens can’t control. Just need to know why I’m missing the point.

Not saying what they are doing is not wrong. I think it is. I understand it’s a majority (if not 100%) of whites doing it. But to put the blame on a whole race for what some of that race is doing doesn’t make sense to me. I hope you’re still here in the future. And I thank you for your engagement.

Yeah, but you should. The whole point of engagement is understanding, right? Your question, "Who did I vote for?", I feel, was not relevant to my original question. Yet I answered. While I will say I voted for Harris, I’m sure the next question would be, “Did I go knock on doors or pass out flyers?” No. I didn’t. I live in a Southern state and I know how the Electoral College works.

I agree 100%. And I would love to see some kind of material that says why, as a white male, I should feel responsible for something I had no control over. Please show me one. Not trying to be a dick, I would love to read it and I don’t know where to find such a thing. Thanks.

I disagree. Unless it’s government hurting us, I don’t think all whites can come together and agree on anything. I do think we should be able to separate ourselves from what has come before. We all don’t think alike.
