The way I read the rule, it seems like an invalid second sequence applies to everything in the sequence, not just the axel. If I wanted to be very harsh, I’d say that even the 3Lz could be ruled invalid but I guess the combination or sequence are elements added onto a jump.

This is my biggest issue with backflips being made legal. My son who is in juvenile “jokes” all the time about wanting to do a back flip. I’m not a fan.

I have an old book about cribbage strategy. Wonder if I can find it. The strategy is something like: 1/3 of hands are disadvantage, 1/3 advantage and 1/3 neutral. There are tactics that can let you get a small advantage in the neutral case and that will help you win overall.
