I'm seeing what happens when the colorful border isn't there.
I like it as a "branding" thing per-series, but I'd be lying if I said I didn't think it looked like a bit too much, and kind of messy, when on the channel's videos tab, and when the progress bar is across the bottom of a thumbnail.

I'm not going anywhere, other than to speak to some doctors and push for the treatment and help that I need, to get back to being who I know I want to be.

~$40 for an Isaac Clarke bundle is fucking wild. This was a cheatcode in Skate 3. Not cool.

Anything that's more of a one-off will just use the full gradient from the channel icon. If something becomes a series, it'll be changed to another colour.
So basically, keep an eye on that Town to City thumbnail. It'll change at some point. 😉

The rounded corners are because someone at YouTube found out that CSS allows you to define a border-radius, and has been obsessed with it ever since.

Had some feedback over the last few months about some thumbnails, especially Cities: Skylines and Transport Fever, looking similar and being hard to tell apart.
Going to start using colours from the current icon (where possible) as a border for each series, so it's easier to tell 'em apart. :)

Been spending some time learning about masks in OBS, and how to use them to apply a blur behind sources. Kind of a knock-off "Liquid Glass," with no displacement map.
While not super fancy, everything in this video was done in OBS, in real-time.
That green alert needs to be brighter though.
