I also had a '68 Dan Gurney Special Cougar. For 16 years it was my only car. Didn't do a full restoration, but it was at least at 95% or better when I sold it. This is not mine, but looks pretty close to what mine was like.

From my parents at Christmas. My older brother got Fresh Cream. They both came out in 1966, but I'm guessing Christmas 1967? He would have been 14, and I was 13, if so.

This is from the Yakima last fall. I turned back to check on my partner, saw this, and had to take the photo. We had just fished that entire stretch. Just outside of Cle Elum, WA. Cheers -
