She did apologise for not telling me so that does soften the blow, considering she knows I'm autistic, but still, I don't usually do well with having tasks sprung upon me without any prior warning (unless I'm asking what I can do).

So anyway that's me done rambling about being autistic for now

And if my break is hijacked by loud people then I get stressed out too, it robs me of a moment to recharge and no I cannot just go outside for my break BC I get overstimulated by the fucking sun too. It's a lose lose BC the lights inside are bright enough as it is, but the sun is worse.

I'm quick to get overwhelmed by not just external stimuli like sounds, lights, smells and touch, but like, also the size of a task that's on my to-do list BC where the hell do I begin? I also get stressed out when I'm called on too often (mostly at work) so I neeeeeeeeeed quiet breaks

Like, so far my biggest problem areas are related to central cohesion and executive function; I need more time to process stuff, I need visual instructions, I have startup problems, switching between tasks is hard, I find it hard to filter what's important or not, and then there's overstimulation

This one piqued my curiosity so I played the demo and it's literally you deciding who lives and who dies but you *must* meet the quota, no more no less otherwise the natural order is disrupted. It's basically Fate having an office full of Grim Reapers, very bureaucratic.

--> The Holy Gosh Darn

I've only played the demo for this and I need to buy it in full, but this game involves time travel and you have like six hours to stop phantoms from invading Heaven. Sounds impossible, right?

--> JoJo's Bizarre Adventure: All Star Battle R

This one had me sold on the title alone purely because I'm a fan of the anime. It's a fighting game with slightly more complex controls than Smash but it's rewarding to see your manoeuvres take and actually work.

--> There Is No Game

This one's a very clever puzzle game where I've personally had to use many hints to get through and I'm not even done 😅 this one's also pretty self aware which I love in a game

--> It came from space and ate our brains

Another shoot em up but this time it's post apocalyptic and it has aliens that you have to defend yourself from.

--> Cat Quest trilogy

I keep saying I don't do RPGs but here I am with another RPG but this time you play as a cat. Nuff Said.

--> Turnip Boy Commits Tax Evasion and Turnip Boy Robs a Bank

Lobbing these two together because my initial reaction to these titles was wtf? But in a highly amused way. Both games are pretty short and the first one has a JoJo reference in it so yeah

--> BDSM: Big Drunk Satanic Massacre

This one's a shoot em up and honestly I had to get this, it was too good to pass up. You play as Lucifer and you basically kill everyone you meet. It's a great outlet.

--> Jay and Silent Bob: Mall Brawl

This one kinda speaks for itself. It's an 8-bit styled game where you have to brawl your way out of a shopping mall to escape security. If you die as Jay, you continue as Silent Bob and so on.

--> Cthulhu Saves Christmas

Starting off big with this very self aware JRPG game in which... Well, Cthulhu has to save Christmas. It's a fun game, definitely worth a shot.
