More than 130 of Stan, Roger, and Anna's employees showed up yesterday hoping to meet with their executives. The execs never RSVPed no, instead they stood us up. But we spent the time productively without them, and they will be hearing about the results of the meeting soon.

We are appalled, but not surprised, by Condé Nast’s layoff of four union members last week, which marks the third time in less than a year that layoffs have impacted our union as well as many of our colleagues outside of the bargaining unit. (1/8)

Condé Nast management will start requiring employees to be in the office 4 days a week on 3/3, allegedly to make us more productive. Yet for months, many of us have gone without desks, often being forced to work from the cafeteria, HR floor or hallways.

Another Condé staffer moved to one of the Rocky Mountain states with her family during the pandemic, and has successfully done her job remotely for years. She still doesn't know if she's expected back in the office 4 times per week on March 3.
