That's Children of Memory by @aptshadow.bsky.social finished. It features some familiar characters, but takes some unexpected twists that ask different philosophical questions than its two predecessors did. Very good indeed. I'm now looking forward to the fourth installment of the series next year!

Every morning when I log onto my work laptop, MS Copilot is pinned to my taskbar. I unpin it. The next morning, it's pinned to my taskbar again.

I never use Copilot. I don't have a need to use Copilot. What the actual hell?

Another version of this set builds a slightly larger two-storey house with a garage and a bigger garden. A couple of locals have already made themselves at home

One thing that always bothered me, even as a kid, was how there were relatively few residential buildings in the Lego "Town" range. Lots of vehicles, but not many houses. Some of the Creator sets *were* houses though, and didn't come with minifigs.

So I'm now trying to solve a housing shortage 😅

A common complaint that I see about the control layout of small Mk V Boogie amps is that many players' two favourite settings - clean and medium-gain - are both on the same channel.

Which leads to this. At first glance, it looks absurd to use a "high-gain" channel for clean sounds, but it works

Ohhh, Prometheus? I'm looking forward to seeing where your research for this one takes you 👀

I'm a bit of an old-school purist when it comes to minifig designs - the early 90s pirates and space ones were fine to me, but these days they look a bit...cartoonish? - but I can't deny that this is a really neat bunch of medieval folks

Oh, my...this box is huge 😮 I can't imagine myself buying another Lego set for the rest of the year*, purely because of the guilt. It was ✨expensive✨

*For myself. I have nephews and nieces after all, and Christmas is coming soon

Can I please take a moment to admire how neat the restringing on Keiko's guitar is? Very tidy and professional for a (relative) beginner 🤩

Yup. I don't think that this is caused by the usual autumnal stuff: the leaves are probably discoloured because there hasn't been enough rain 🫣

She's doing fine! Around 12 years old, in perfect health, and still enjoys a spoonful of fish on a Friday night.

I'll need the assistance of one of my local friends to get her to her upcoming vet checkup though. She's not vicious, but can be quite stubborn and...wriggly when the carrier appears
