I didn’t want to post the one with me and Gus on his last day. So this was the next photo I had. It is from FEBRUARY.

Mourning the loss of a pet is painful. It's like losing a child. I've lost both. I got Gus to help cope with losing my son and perhaps that is why losing Gus was so hard. He was unofficially my emotional support dog. It's like ripping that bandage off my heart again. #grief

I'm not ok today without my Gus Gus. When I'm not crying every couple of hours, I will start some projects around the house to distract myself. But for today, I'm going to allow myself time to grieve, wallow, bawl, and mope about the house. I want him back. I want my Gus dog back.

Rest in Peace to my best friend and the greatest dog I've ever had in my life, Gus. I don't know how I will go on without my Gussie boy as he leaves behind a huge hole where his enormous heart once beat. I miss him so much already & hope one day he will come for me when it's my time.

My dog Duncan's death stare this morning when I told him "no more" after the second Pupperoni treat. I ended up meeting him in the middle with a large Milk Bone.
