Wasn't happy with the seat in the end so decided to spend more abit more time on it (Using the Lattice tool to deform the shape abit better). I think I've finally got it to a point where its got that look of 'organically' sat in/used but I still have to back cushion to do

Working on the driver's seat & I've never struggled to make something so simple before. Tried a few versions of this but none of them looked right until this one. Still abit more to do on the back cushion and seatbelts but happy with the progress so far. Foot pedals next.

Back at it again. I couldn't bring myself to skip out on the modelling of the front axle & suspension system

I spent some time figuring out how they properly connect together. (Or its my best guess at least)

Also added more buttons and wires to the dashboard inside😛

Started modelling a Low-poly Rosenbauer 6x6 Fire engine a while back 🚒
Thought I would use the opportunity to try Marmoset Toolbag 5 for some bakes while I'm at it☺️

Here's a lil turntable of the High-poly before it got baked to the low-poly mesh.

Yeh.. who was I kidding about getting this done by xmas...🙃😅 Annyyway, here's another camera perspective in the meantime. I did some work inside the main cabin (mainly the buttons) and added some window wipers too. They should be cool once they're rigged up :)

BUTTONS! This took longer than expected and there's still a way to go but happy with this jumping off point in terms of the front dashboard and its little components. Slowly everythings coming together so hopefully this project will be done by Xmas :)

Decided to put the batteries on the back burner as they're mainly hidden and not a prio stm. Focusing more on the cabin interior with the steering wheel and surounding dashboard and its monitors. Gonna focus on some buttons today and then the drivers seat next. :)🪑

Not sure if I'm going overboard but I decided to model the batteries underneath the metal hatches... Is it good/important to do this level of detail?
Kinda hesitant to do the electric motor etc in the compartment beside it.
Its hard to prioritise sometimes 🙃🥲

Some parts of the under carridge and wheel area I did but forgot to post about 😅 Happy with the detail of the back wheels but will prob bake the front wheels down to a normal texture so the mesh can be reduced.. Also need to figure out how it attaches to the frame

I did this in a weird order I know but decided to blockout the Interior of the cabin. I've been procrasting this too long so finally bit the bullet with it.
Gonna work on the tyre treads and undercarriage parts next and then I'll start refining :)

Had a bit of a break over Easter so I'm slowly getting back into this again.
I concentrated on some small front details and on the lights of the main cabin but realistically I need to stop and focus on the interior...

Spending wayy too much time on these top lights but kept getting the feeling the proportions were off so had to sit on them until it was ok-ish😑

I need more interior references though so might email the company/maker for some? Bad idea?

Spent most of yesterday trying to get all the measurements for the sliding doors correct but my brain started to melt after a few hours...😅 Gonna continue with it today but will need to find more references of the insides.

Moving on to the sliding doors now and then hopefully abit of the interiors. Kinda forgot to do a block out for the insides entirely👀
I also need to figure out how to attempt the rubber seals around the door rims but might be overthinking it abit.

Realised I only had the default material on the Truck so darkened it abit and added a nice metallic sheen to everything. Not a massive change but the tweak makes it overall look nicer imo. Also added some window panes and the doors to the mix✨
