Cherry, WIP. The first layer looks so lovely and gentle. The piece is almost finished now and I think I prefer the version with more potential than mistakes lol.

Cherry, WIP. Some nice scritchy-scratchy masking fluid for you. I used latex masking fluid to hold down and secure the edges of my masking tape. This will hopefully protect the white space while I paint the background. The sound is just dried latex rubbing the tooth of the paper. #art #watercolor

Haunted, 2024, details. I finally played with allowing the water to bloom. I’ve always tried to avoid water blooms, in favor of nice even washes/gradients. Seems I’m always forcing things into what they are not, or to “iron out” their true nature. Let water be water. Let me be me. #watercolor
