This is already the perfect way to resolve this drama anyway, but it gets 300% better with the line coming from Kyoshika specifically. There's a really special about throwing "the teen samurai on sneakers thinks you're delusional" as a truth nuke.

The Killing Game's romantic subplot even gets a little jealousy arc and break up depression. Oyama is really going all in on his OTP.

I had never stopped to consider Eva's laundry situation. I guess I simply assumed she never took off her battle suit since she can't shower in the cage. She wouldn't have spare clothes in the school aside from the swimsuit she only gets as a brainwashed soldier, so is she caged naked during laundry?
