It's because of the difference between the speed of light and sound plus the speed of the ball.
At 140km/h the ball is travelling 39m/s, if RTS is filming in 300fps that means the ball could be moving up to 12-13cm per frame which is why there's allowance for a sound to be up to 1 frame behind
