Stop complaining about your "private intellectual property" and start complaining about how artists have no control or ownership over the industry. Organize to overthrow the capitalist class and unite with the working class and lumpenproletariat.

All the writers and artists aren't actually worried about plagiarizism. They are worried their bourgeois benefactors will stop funding them. These petit bourgeois artists are just human versions of Ai, scrapping culture and representing (selling) it to bourgeois art collectors.
