I was focusing on the bird, I'm working towards a larger painting and trying different methods to get where I want to go with that one. This was all alla prima and it got muddy in the background. I think the bird is stiff and I don't like his feet. Trying to get the technique and feel though.

Except a large portion of the country was screaming that there are planes on the way.
