High miler. Well travelled. Been around the block a few times. Love music, art and interested in current affairs. Social democrat. Scotland will be better off making all it's own decisions and in control of it's own resources. Scotland is a country.
Anyone know what this did?

Mine would have been 90. She passed in 2015. She knew me like a book and I loved her dearly. Always there for me. Like you said few of them left now. This is her and my Dad at a dance in the mid 50s.

Would you like a slice of my stollen? My German friend has given us one every Xmas since 94 when we lived there. Now I am single.....it's a lot!

My German friend sent me a 1kg stollen. It's a tradition of hers since 1994 when we lived out first Xmas there. I am now single and diabetic! Goodness knows what to do. I have sliced small bits from it every other day. That's how you deal with a problem!

We had trams here till 61. It was an extensive network. Someone decided cars were the future so we lost the trams and trolley buses. If only.....

Yesterday I heard a clip from BBC Radio 4 about Scotland on the news, about 30s worth. It mentioned the "poor performing schools and ailing SNHS" both statements totally a lie. Yet casually dropped into the news feed. Like this. Pure propaganda. #scotland #bbc #propaganda

Ready for winter and in hibernation this tree has lost all it's leaves. Stands in front of a typical red sandstone Glasgow tenement building. Around the corner the same kind of building has wee shops on the ground floor. All very iconic of Glasgow. #photography

and the final drawing, a howitzer for the British Army during World War 2. In the early 80s Baker Perkins made the cookie lines for Duncan Hines, machines to make Pampers and Pringles for P&G and the Rapier missile launcher for the Royal Navy. #history #nostalgia #engineering

My former employer was a world leading engineering company, Baker Perkins plc, Westfield Rd., England. When I joined in '83 it had '000s of employees. Now I believe it is around a few hundred. During the transfer to a new site I had these drawings photographed. They show the factory during WW2. #war

These trees look over 2 bowling greens that are no longer used. Oh to be them and to see what they have witnessed. All the folk that played on these greens have long gone. When I sit on the bench there I sometimes feel their ghosts. Real Glaswegians. Full of heart. #glasgow #scotland #ghosts
