Are they calling it the "Stop Trading On Congressional Knowledge" (STOCK) Act?
January 16, 2026 at 7:00 PM
That's the first past the post system in general.

No reason the second party couldn't be the PSL.
January 16, 2026 at 6:52 PM
Because party insiders will make it so who I want doesn't win anyway.

How many times do they need to fuck Bernie for y'all to get it? Primaries are just for show. They decide who the nominee is without your assent. They will manufacturer consent.
January 16, 2026 at 6:49 PM
Ok, so you don't actually care about democracy.

Let's get this very straight. Because you're saying that people shouldn't get a choice, because if they do, your team might not win.

Cool morals.

Ok, then get ready for people not to vote for your candidate, and just stay home.
January 16, 2026 at 6:47 PM
That's some good trouble.
January 16, 2026 at 6:38 PM
Ok, but like, we aren't Democrats. The problem isn't ONLY that the Democrats don't run people we'd vote for, by rigging the primaries against candidates we would vote for, it's that they then make sure third parties can't run either.

"Biased questioning?" Asks the OAN reporter, "Here, hold my beer"
January 16, 2026 at 6:33 PM
There are currently less than 3m bodies in the American armed forces (according to Google) and that includes military and civilians, so they'd all have to get brought back to the US, and they'd all have to agree to oppress their neighbors... And it still wouldn't be enough.
January 16, 2026 at 5:24 PM
I used to watch Beau, now his wife Belle of the ranch, and he spoke about occupation. If you want to occupy a foreign nation, you need 1 soldier for every 50 civilians to keep order.

So yea, about 5-6 million troops, just in the US.
January 16, 2026 at 5:22 PM
First, cool dismissive attitude. What if the thing that comes next is a fascist dictatorship?

But even if your entire worldview was "this too shall pass", how many millions are gonna die before that happens?

I get not wanting to be nihilist, but burying your head in the sand isn't helpful either
January 16, 2026 at 5:10 PM
Freedom for me, but not for thee, you see.
January 16, 2026 at 4:56 PM
"she could have been assaulting law enforcement"

No, we know that's not possible. She's still alive.
January 16, 2026 at 4:55 PM
It'll go next to his FIFA trophy.
January 16, 2026 at 4:51 PM
Fuck Ford. Once a Nazi, always a Nazi I guess.
January 16, 2026 at 4:36 PM
Don't call it a ballroom. It's a bunker. There's no way a ballroom would take 4 years to construct.
January 16, 2026 at 2:20 PM
You know how I know that's fake? They're all keeping up.
January 16, 2026 at 2:03 PM
Because they abolished money.
January 16, 2026 at 1:54 PM
I mean, it's kind of hard to be angry with a toy that cool, amirite?
January 16, 2026 at 1:22 AM
He's already, on two different occasions, "joked" (Levitt's word) about there not being a next election.
January 16, 2026 at 1:17 AM
They're acting like they'll never let go of power...
January 16, 2026 at 1:15 AM
Came here to say this
January 16, 2026 at 1:11 AM
Who told you that? It's been law in DC since 1980. Whereas San Francisco passed their version, COPA in 2019.

Are you just making things up?
January 16, 2026 at 1:01 AM
"you can train anything but values"
-a much smarter man than I am
January 16, 2026 at 12:00 AM
Who do you think fixes these things right now? Board members?

Workers already do that work. Plumbers, HVAC, and elevator mechanics.

You know the city already does emergency repairs on properties right now, right?

You bootlickers that think only Capital can do these things make me laugh.
