Scaffolding Central. The hodgepodge of metal scaffolding pipes that was the main stand now replaced by that simple solution in your photos. Oakley Road really was even more of a beautiful mess before!

Experienced at L1 level: did well at both Cheltenham & Barnsley. Duff wasn't given any time at Swansea and his Huddersfield period increasingly went backwards towards the end. Perhaps a last opportunity at L1 for Duff too? He takes over a minefield of a squad & recruitment policy. Good luck Duffy🤞🏻

Hallelujah 🙌🏻
Finally someone (perhaps not Dan Rice?) has called time on a guy who just wasn't up to the task.

Fair enough. I would suggest your argument/hope is extremely optimistic in comparison to the vast, vast majority. I'm hopeful things will turn around on the pitch, however, I believe that will have to via a new manager. As for the finances....there's a clear case for a lot of nervousness.

My concern for the team is not drawing any comparison. Right now we are in a very difficult position. Financially the position is opaque. The ownership and management haven't revealed much at all and that is a huge concern too.
September 2, 2025 at 5:55 PM
Come on..... the stats don't lie. The performances don't lie. We have been woeful. There won't be many fans who are optimistic Dodds has any credible form to turn it around.
September 2, 2025 at 5:49 PM
I'm not saying I do. I'm merely in the camp of perhaps 95% of the fans who think this guy is way, way out of his depth and would like Rice to stand up and be strong.
September 2, 2025 at 5:40 PM
Based upon results, Dodds is far worse than the two you mentioned. Based upon what we see in terms of tactics - so far - there's no hope either. Dodds has been clueless. The only ounce of comfort might come with the new signings. There's little support for Dodds in the fanbase. He's got 3 games IMO
September 2, 2025 at 5:36 PM
Another 10 games in, based on current form, would be too long. We would be staring at Division Four football firmly in the face.
September 2, 2025 at 5:27 PM
Additional 'sponsorship funds' or other loop holes must be being exploited to underpin the squad. On paper, the obligations to SCMP can't be met with our attendances and organic turnover.
September 2, 2025 at 5:26 PM
...and 'in debt' to the tune of millions of pounds to an owner we know little about and hear nothing from. We haven't won in the league for 12 games (?) and have a totally incapable coach who will send us down to League 2 if he stays. Then what? Our wage bill must be insane.
September 2, 2025 at 5:17 PM
The approach is chaotic and without - it appears - any logic to it. The club is in desperate need of senior management.
September 2, 2025 at 5:10 PM
No excuse for Savage....his penalty was as awful as Westergaard's looked weary. Another match which left Wycombe fans shaking their heads at the poor quality (and bemusing tactics) on show.
August 27, 2025 at 6:13 AM
Abysmal performance from a baffling set of PE Teacher tactics, including dreadful displays from Tilley, Allen, Abbott & Lowry. Unfortunately the clown will continue in his job for now.
August 26, 2025 at 9:03 PM
Not a recognisable striker in the line up.
Dodds throws names up in the air and waits to see where they land -- probably likely to be a more effective team selection than anything he could deliver personally.

"I've had a warning shot" -- the end is nigh?
August 17, 2025 at 7:18 AM
Lowry and Tilley in a two behind Udoh.
August 16, 2025 at 1:36 PM
Estimated £250,000+ fee paid for him....but poor attitude or just didn't fit with Dodds and/or desired team system?
August 8, 2025 at 6:20 PM
Farnham Royal and Farnham Common both Buckinghamshire. Wexham Park is right on the border between Berks & Bucks. The entrance to the ground is the actual boundary. (The ground is still there btw and Slough used to be Bucks, of course)
August 8, 2025 at 6:14 PM
Farnham Royal is in Buckinghamshire.
August 8, 2025 at 6:52 AM
Yeah, I read it as a mid term replacement for Harlington. At least the site is in Buckinghamshire....and a stone's throw from Slough Town's old stadium at Wexham Park too!

Little chance. Sounds like Kone has the choice of Swansea, Toulouse or Ipswich (especially if they sell Broadhead) to move to.
August 2, 2025 at 3:51 PM
.....makes sense from a security perspective. Unless of course, Kone's form in the final three months of last season is more representative of his struggles at this level of football and/or playing in a Dodds system. Should the club cash in if PNE raises their offer or a higher bidder comes in?
July 31, 2025 at 10:13 AM
Nor will the EFL when they view our accounts......a big sale must be imminent.
