AWA's They Choose Violence kinda shat the bed on the last issue. I get what they were going for, but I don't think they should have glorified this guy the way they did. Overall, the book had a "hello, fellow kids" vibe to it as well, but I can't deny that it was compelling enough to finish. 6/10

The Knives by Ed Brubaker and Sean Phillips: It doesn't say specifically that it's ending the Criminal series, but it definitely feels like it. Good callbacks to prior series and the way the story twists and turns is genuinely fantastic. One of the best books of the year(so far). 10/10 #comics

The Slasher's Apprentice by Justin Richards is a really fun comic. The ending twist is a little obvious, but the character work is so good that it doesn't really matter. Highly recommend.
