I am LDS which is a branch of Christianity. We use The Bible and The Book of Mormon. The Book of Mormon helps to understand some things in the Bible. I have had a positive experience with religion, but that doesn't mean everyone else has to.

I don't see how politics relate to this. Trump is Going to be in office next year, yes, Christians are a majority of Republican voters, but how does that invalidate my experience?

Depends on the person. Me personally, I read the Book of Mormon, and every time I do, I feel immeasurably happy. You don't seem to have any experience with religion, so how can you say it magnifies psychological problems?

Have you ever read 1984 by George Orwell? It's an amazing book in my opinion. There is romance but it's not explicit.
