This coming Saturday from 1-4pm an event in honour of world suicide awareness and prevention day is being held in New Germany, Nova Scotia.

This is work in our community that is proudly supported by the Lunenburg County Community Health Board.
World Suicide Awareness and Prevention Day This workshop and afternoon of sharing and support is being held in honour of those who have survived a suicide attempt, those who have lost someone they love to suicide and those supporting anyone experiencing suicidal ideation. DROP IN AND FIND • Information on resources and supports available on site • Light snacks and beverages • Large paper to write names or messages in remembrance or support of a loved one Quiet space to sit if needed. Adorn a small fabric doll in memory of a loved one: or as a symbol of self-care as someone living with suicidal ideation or as a support in the prevention of suicide. While supplies last. Nova Scotians! Nova Scotia Health has just announced measles exposure at QEII Halifax Infirmary (emerg and diagnostic imaging) that happened in the past few days; more details are available at www.nshealth.ca/news-and-not..., please let anyone who may be impacted know!

I'm probably going to scrap this AI article which is currently sitting at 11 citations and I haven't even gotten to Marx's Theory of Alienation yet because at the end of the day my feelings can be summed up with these two memes instead:
