Kentucky's opioid crisis is well-known. Medicaid is a huge resource for our communities for substance use treatment and support. Recent efforts have been effective in lowering overdose rates for the last couple of years.

Yesterday, Warren County held our reorganization. I was elected precinct committee for Plum Springs and was elected onto the executive board.
We also heard from democratic party chair Colmon Elridge. It is pretty cool to be described by him as a "badass!". #compton4congress2026 #Kentucky

Residents in Hart County showed up today to protest what is going on in the state and local levels. People in all areas, even rural Kentucky, are angry. They are angry about the $880 billion in cuts to medicaid Brett Guthrie is responsible for. They are angry about cuts to social security.

Here is the GOP budget plan in a simple graph. They want to cut peograms that help people and give tax cuts to wealthy elites. Look at that largest chunk, Medicaid. My opponent is the driving force making that happen. Massive cuts like this will do nothing but hurt people.

I work for the public schools in Warren County. Here is how eliminating federal funding would hurt our schools in this county. We must work to strengthen, not weaken our public schools. We need a leader who will do that. Brett Guthrie has shown he will not. #Compton4congress2026
