Does the world realise that today's young people are growing up bombarded by the messages that Musk chooses? A constant dosage of trad wife, man obeying, child rearing, fundamental Christian, and foreigner fearing?

@thehistoryguy.bsky.social i love much about what History Hit is all about Dan, but by God you'll drive me away with the intrusive soundtrack and unbearable sound balance of Cluny. Just had to switch it off after 25 minutes struggle. It's unwatchable I'm afraid. I realise it's not home created..

Every other post in my feed at the other place is Musk. I never read them, always scroll past, but there he still is emptying his bile. Same on the BBC. Cannot escape him other than coming here it seems

What I'm reading today to stay sane. This book is like a salve on an aching wound. In a world where climate threats and species extinctions are the new "normal," it is good therapy to focus on steps one can take to "be the change you want to see in the world." Thank you, Kate Bradbury. #rewilding

AI still has a way to go. This is Amazon's AI review for a book on mountains.

"Customers [...] appreciate the author's lyrical writing style and his love of mountains. The book provides an informative history of the mountains and their views on Europeans." 😂

Why is everyone so angry these days? It's exhausting and unhealthy. Weaponised discontent

@brianclegg.bsky.social Hoping to find a stress free environment here to discuss and celebrate science and open thinking. Thought I'd start by saying that I'd just finished your book on Infinity and loved it. Nicely balanced, accessible but tackles some challenging ideas. Thanks.
