An assortment of flowers living out their last days... A couple of baskets of tomatoes, we cleared the greenhouse today... All the tomatoes we've harvested from the greenhouse, reds, oranges, yellows and a lot of greens! From the size of a pea too the size of a tennis ball!

That's a Dhalia, this variety is a yellow one. Another Dhalia. This one might be Cafe Creme, unless it's a different one A Hydrangea, this starts the year as a lovely sky blue then slowly changes through a plethora of colours as the season goes on. Then the heads stay in my compost forever and ever and never break down.

Hot composting action, Sexy AF. 🌱
An uncovered pallet compost bin, a good mix of garden and food waste collected over about 4 months. Was turned last weekend. A photo of a compost thermometer, stuck in me compost. It shows 132 degrees f, putting it just inside the 'cooking' range.

A pile of compost. Temp had dropped, so decided to turn it into the bay on the left. Half way through. Also layered more grass clippings and woodchip in as I turned. The turned pile. With a happy chicken checking for any bugs that never made it.
