There is DaVinci Resolve for the iPad. I've only used it once when I needed to do an edit while traveling. It won't work on a phone. I'm often editing 3-hour event videos, so the desktop is better for me. Hope you find something you like to use on a phone.

There is DaVinci Resolve for the iPad. I've only used it once when I needed to do an edit while traveling. It won't work on a phone. I'm often editing 3-hour event videos, so the desktop is better for me. Hope you find something you like to use on a phone.

I quite like @blackmagicdesign.bsky.social's DaVinci Resolve. Used for film. Free version is sufficient; the Studio version is a one-time payment. Or included with the Speed Editor keyboard (what I use).
Not simplified, though. So, maybe not an alternative.

I quite like @blackmagicdesign.bsky.social's DaVinci Resolve. Used for film. Free version is sufficient; the Studio version is a one-time payment. Or included with the Speed Editor keyboard (what I use).

I've made 30+ updates to the list from Friday through Monday to the list of resources for the #LosAngelesFires #EatonFire #PalisadesFire. The satellite view of hot spots is nicely clear, right now, but there's still risk from the Santa Ana winds increasing in speed this week.

live wildfire cameras, current fire perimiters, flight tracker, surface wind direction.
I believe it currently always shows the evacuation order (pink) and warning (yellow) areas; at least I didn't see a way to toggle the view, at a glance.
