I'll agree that Trumpers can't be trusted. But that doesn't mean I should shew them away when they admit, even in a limited way, that they were wrong. Accept victories that are handed to you. Ultimate surrender will come later, after the smaller victories pile up.

Actually, the pile on of contempt here is the real hate crime. If you have no use for something as subjective as her writing style, move on. Lingering is merely in service of your own ego.

As an extreme example, in 2006 an Amish community chose to forgive the murderer of their children. A milder example would be for Maddow, Biden, and Bush to attend Chaney's funeral - at least to recognize his recent support for democracy. This is a humanistic value that Mr Ali has yet to come to.

You're probably right, but I think more time is needed to be so definitive. After her recent apology for past sins, I'm now curious as to where this will end up. We can be cautious without condemnation in advance.

I had Pyrenean Mastiffs back in the day, but also wanted a Leonburger. (Saw them at rare breed dog shows, but never made the connection.) Great looking boy. Sorry about his deep forest mishaps.
