I wish the universe would let me revoke the em-dash privileges of certain novelists. Even and especially those who have been dead since 1915. It would do wonders for my mental health, I think

Very disappointed I didn't get an artist's greeting from my top artist this year. I think Spotify should have made it happen somehow

It finally stopped.

Because the printer ran out of paper.

After 919 pages.

Almost mercifully, the printer is a capricious little demon, so it decided to print a double-sided page here and there at random.

We went to see Chekov's The Seagull at Hålogaland Teater yesterday, and it was so good. Made me see the similarities between Konstantin and Trigorin. It seemed like Konstantin did too, that he maybe felt he had to die because he feared becoming capable of doing what Trigorin did. Brilliant stuff.
The photos shows a lit stage made to look like a garden. The floor looks like a freshly cut lawn. There's a meter or so of just grass, then several trees and some plants, all placed very symmetrically. Behind them, there's a water fountain surrounded by a little stone path. Some clever trick with a smoke machine has made the ceiling look like a dark, overcast sky. The stage light shine brightly down at the camera. All in all, the stage has been competently made to look like a fancy garden owned by rich people.
