I'm glad the community has a possible win on the horizon. I still want more rights for the LGBTQ community and for less medical junk and more protections to extend regardless of gender.

Maybe it's more of a Jewish thing to realize that celebration should not be seen as a time to also ignore suffering. Both of these things can, and should, coexist.

Went to the dentist recently and baffled her lol
First time was smooth sailing. Second time I got poked with anesthetic 4+ times and still felt pain. Never had that happen before. Nothing seemed wrong with the tooth either?? It's still majorly sensitive, but I'm hoping the new toothpaste will help!

I love LegalEagle’s vids, but the new one about Greenland is… really something. I need them to stop mocking the indigenous name the Thule Air Base was renamed to because all they're doing in this case is mocking the Greenlanders and their language and not the US…

My spouse and I share a bank account which makes it difficult to surprise one another with gifts. This Hanukkah I’ve finally pulled it off by buying them a gift all the way back in Oct that they completely forgot about it! Nyeheheh! It’s a tiny keychain frog plushie! 🐸🩵

STEM without the arts was a mistake. You wind up with so many science minded, analytic creatives who spend less time truly understanding how and why things change and more time cramming things in neat little boxes that are never supposed to mix.

The upside to being sick is I’ve had a lot of free time to play World of Horror on the switch. It’s a perfect game to play between random bouts of unconsciousness.
I can’t seem to find a good use for the exorcism ritual though? Bit baffled by this mechanic. I know it’s for ghosts, but why?

Being sick and unable to taste anything is already wild, but there’s an added element of concern when you can’t taste how much of something you’ve added to a dish… like salt…

The Fall of the House of Usher series is phenomenally done (ending feels a bit rushed and at times contrived), but no matter how much I enjoy Flanagan's work it's always ruined by his bizarre penchant for murdering cats.
