Community Living BC, a provincial Crown corporation, funds supports for people 19+ who have a developmental disability, or who have Autism Spectrum Disorder (ASD) or Fetal Alcohol Spectrum Disorder (FASD) and need significant help with daily tasks.
As we reflect on 2025, we’re proud of the progress made together at CLBC. This year included new accessibility work, community council events, the WOW Awards, inclusive communication tools, and more.

This October, CLBC’s Terrace office gathered on the unceded ancestral territories of the Tsimshian Nation to honour space, people and place.

Staff, community members and Elders gathered to celebrate culture through shared teachings, stories, art and food.

CLBC’s Cranbrook office held a meaningful land acknowledgement ceremony to honour the Ktunaxa Peoples, the original custodians of the land and waters where the office resides.

This marks the eighth land acknowledgement led by CLBC’s Indigenous Relations team.
