This #HomelessnessAwarenessMonth, we want to highlight the urgent need to address, end, and prevent homelessness among those affected.

Our 2025 Point In Time Count found that 2,556 people were experiencing homelessness in Franklin Co. & Central Ohio, a 7.4% increase from 2024.

There are two essential approaches to addressing homelessness in Columbus.

Permanent Supportive Housing: Lasting rental assistance and wrap-around support for those experiencing chronic homelessness.

Rapid Re-Housing: Short & mid-term assistance to quickly help people secure permanent housing.
