I have fallen in love with LiDAR scanning as an architectural drafting tool.
A site measure like this typically takes hours, but I can do in with a LiDAR scanner and Revit in 30 minutes (with help from a good friend). Plus we walk away with a measurable scan that eliminates the need to return.
