I wish I could attend. I would say no. I believe there is good philosophical grounding that dictates we sometimes extend "moral patienthood" to unconscious entities.

That is biased. Assuming the family can’t be honest is prejudiced. View art with an open mind, not built-in assumptions. Be better.

Mostly lack of family planning or bad individual decisions, when it comes to active duty members. Most of the active duty that are on SNAP, are low ranking members with dependents.

Worth remembering that probably 20-30% of the country have always responded positively to racism or fascism. However, the majority of people want to be left alone to live the best life possible.

It’s morally wrong and ethically questionable to assume you can know what someone thinks or believes about politics. It is ever worse when you are assuming things about a major portion of the country. We are not mind readers. Why ask such an unserious question?

Depressing but truly a testament for how education (or a lack thereof) can immobilize and wreak havoc on entire generations of people.

I thought the idea for the last century has been that our biology and environment impact each other to make us who we are.
I'm not a biologist, but I haven't heard anyone within biology arguing that environment plays no role in traits. It seems to be a question of how much it plays a role.

I hate when people dont say what they mean. Saying someone took the easy way out is calling them a coward. Ive also seen guys continue after a vicious eye poke. Ive never seen anyone take a similar eye poke to both eyes at once and continue.

Not suprising. In America, policing rarely attracts analytical minds with advanced critical-thinking, reading and compression skills. The job’s culture, training, and incentives don’t emphasize intellectual skill.
