He's done! I spent this entire weekend, 20 hours, on him, and man am I happy about the end result.

I'm quite happy with the Scythe. It only took 3 hours, but I'm happy with it!

A Biologus Putrifier in Pallid Hands.
This was actually a really fun model to paint, and allowed me to practice on glass and OSL again, and think I did quite well.
Now to just wait on the Vallejo Mud to dry, and I can finish the base!

Pro-Acryl's Golden Brown is such a nice color. It's a shame that it's coverage is less than stellar.
The green on the face mask is.. not doing it for me. Maybe a black to contrast with the (eventual) grimey cream color? Or a plum? Eh, idk yet. Any suggestions?

After a stint of hopelessness, despair, and depression, I finally managed to pick up a brush and actually put it to some models. A 30 minute paint session, but I say I'm quite happy w/ the skin on these Poxwalkers; the coat... not so much.

From 3' away, these Plague Marines look pretty good. Sure, I could do more detailing, but these guys aren't the ones that catches the eyes of the people playing against you.
Either way, what Unit(s) should I do next? Typhus, Poxwalkers, or Chaos Cultists?

Pixiss airbrush paint line review!
Overall a very saturated line that covers extremely well. It does come pre-thinned, almost to the point of the viscosity of a Citadel Wash, so it's definitely not a paint you want to be doing much detail work with. It should be

New paint line!! Review will hopefully come in the morning. I'm especially excited about the Orchid, Coffee, and Matcha colors.

A filter of Garaghak's Sewer over Flesh Tearer Red, Bad Moon Yellow, and White Scars. Can't really see it on Red, Yellow is the dirtiest, and White looks the most stained. Honestly, I may apply this as a filter over the rest of the army, as I imagine it shows up quite well on Plaguebearer Flesh

Thank you Impcat for allowing nice and easy color schemes. Just a test run on a preset model, to get the feel for it. Now to test it out on a Plague Marine stand in for Typhus.

With most of my Plague Marines painted (this isn't even half of em), I am quite close to finishing out my army. I need to paint 30 Poxwalkers, and 30 Chaos Cultists, then 4 Blightlord Termies, and finally Typhus. I'm halfway there!

My Nurgle army is quickly coming together! Hopefully by Christmas or New Years, I'll have the majority of the 2k force painted

Finally getting back to work on my models. Trying a stippling approach with the greens to serve the foundation for my DG Rhino. Couple more coats, then I can start working on the whites, browns, and metallics.

I shoulda started doing this a while ago. I've not bit my nails once in 4 days despite how nervous I've been due to being at a for 2 of those days.

Have you ever seen that one model that has you contemplating on picking up a whole new game? Cause it's this one for me. This singular model has me tempted to start playing Necromunda.

Yesterday at 2pm; went to a friend's to start painting her Samehada. Airbrush decided "I'm going to spray paint out of everywhere but the nozzle"
Spent with hours cleaning it. No luck.
5Pm; bought new airbrush.
1:30am; finished day one of painting Samehada. Monday is more painting.

It helped with the actual metallics on here cause I kept them (mostly) brass. So the primer helped me visualize where the light already caught, so I could accentuate the lights and shadows.

On one hand, I'm actually quite sad that I didn't get to the 100 followers to surprise a follower with a Knight. On the other hand, my wallet is very happy that it didn't happen.
