In March, responding to questions in the Police Portfolio Committee, Mchunu insisted: “I don't know this person,” referring to Mogotsi.

Four months later he admitted, to know him, but only as a "comrade".

Today at the Ad Hoc Committee in parliament he says he has known Mogotsi since 2017.

The legacy of Tshidi Madia and her brave journalism and the loss for all of South Africa is shown in that even the Government of the Republic of South Africa pays tribute to her at her funeral today.

This morning at San Salvador Catholic, Leondale, Germiston, the funeral was held for courageous Tshidi Madia, who passed away unexpectedly last week at the age of 42. Family, friends and colleagues said goodbye to a unique journalist, whose death is a huge loss for South Africa. May you #RIPTshidi.

The aggressiveness the white farmer showed to the black journalists was shocking. But even more shocking his attitude that showed that farmers like him have not changed one bit since apartheid was abolished. Their mindset is still in the old times. But white Afrikaners wonder, why Blacks are angry!

May the wonderful memories shared today by Tshidi Madia's family, friends and colleagues comfort all hearts that are bleeding and will still for time to come. What they definitely show is, what a powerhouse of a journalist she was and what a human being full of love and passion for truth and justice
