haven't really thought beyond this. and honestly a long time ago i made a request to an artist to draw this scenerio on tumblr. sorry I don't have the images they drew and i've forgotten who the artist was.

As they both reach out for it, they accidentally touch hands. they stood frozen as what was just a brief moment felt like an eternity to them. they both glanced at each other, faces red.
then they both snapped back to reality, Aqua quickly apologizing before Dustman picks up the last piece of trash.

They both were so wrapped up in their job duty that they failed to realize that their cleaning was slowly inching them towards each other.
The final piece of junk lays on the sand, not realizing they were literally next to each other.

So throughout the day they both just find themselves catching quick glance at one another.
they thought to themselves someone like him would never like me like that.

What I like to think happened between them is that one day after a huge storm, they both were sent out to clean a beach.
it was an instant attraction between them, but they were too shy to say or do anything.

When Gantu first got the paperwork, he was oppose to be the wife. Reuben said if Gantu wanted to wait in line and get a new form, he would be happy to sign it, but after seeing the line had grew from a 12 hour wait to a 552 hour wait, he didn't want to waste time waiting in line so Gantu signed.

Reuben waited in line for 12 hours to get the paperwork to fill out while Gantu was away on a mission. They both agreed to whoever waited in line get to fill it out however they wanted, so Gantu will eventually accepted that officially he's considered to be Reuben's wife.
