I want the basic lands I run in my three color decks to feature all the relevant colors in the art. The blue, green, and red in this piece by Alayna Danner goes perfect in my Temur Xyris, the Writhing Storm deck.

Very kind of maro to decisively solve the hybrid argument for commander in one sentence. Card is both colors in all zones. Color identity applies. Done and dusted.

While preparing for this new video, one of the biggest surprises to me was that the Lego Company designs new sets with “reprint equity” of expensive Lego pieces in mind and is keenly aware of the secondary market. Just like WotC with Magic the Gathering.
