The Krakoan Age will always be important to me. I started reading comics with it & I loved every minute of it. Krakoa was a beautiful escape for me & so many others who identify with the mutant metaphor (as imperfect as it is). Krakoa may be gone but lives on in all of us, just like this issue says

This whole issue was spectacular but those last couple pages in particular just hit in all the right places. The Fall of X had its ups and downs, but the First Krakoan Age ended with a momentous and beautiful and heartbreaking and hopeful moment that I will never forget
