I've pondered a comic titled "White Dude/Lady Says What?" and it's just white people presuming they're geniuses and everything would be perfect if the rest of us just followed their expert instructions.

I think his job is impossible. He's doing about as well as possible. But that's never going to be impressive ... just given the structure and the math of the current House.

There's a certain kind of argument that appeals to people who think they're unrecognized geniuses. It often involves a verbal inversion (eg: "Arabs are Semitic too!") based on empty pedantry.

There's a lot of sophistry in the pro-Pal discourse. It's very convincing to pseudo-intellectual people.

The campaign will require a LOT of money and skilled, intersectional organizing. We need to partner with Black, Brown, and queer people to fight bigotry of all kinds.
If we try to do it alone, we'll have a much harder time, for the reason you mentioned.

It should be punished as asshole behavior. No need to classify it as bullying and better to stop it before the trans kids get hurt.
