Seth is a cartoonist that I’m glad I discovered when I did. I think if I started reading his stuff any earlier in life it wouldn’t have connected with me.

Oh my god, what an easy read. 800+ pages that were smooth like butter. It’s different enough from the movie that I’m not quite sure where things are going to be going, which makes it an even more exciting read. The $70 price tag for Oldboy vol 1 is steep, but don’t let it scare you off.

New year, new thread of reads. Kicking off 2026 by finishing up My Name is Shingo. I think this might be my favorite work I’ve read of Umezz’s yet. The final volume was far more heart wrenching than I expected.
