i think if you wanna tackle homophobia or racism etc etc in your work that is a worthy endeavor if youre gonna do it correctly but to say that writing about a minority group REQUIRESSSS that you discuss their oppression or you arent being authentic is so. ridiculous. like ok edgelord

i was expecting (bleakly) that the state of the world would mean literary interest in scifi and a move away from high fantasy/romantasy and i may be correct. yay (said while crying)

i also think the themes that i like to touch on are much more suited to something closer to urban fantasy and whimsical scifi lol will continue to noodle on this. maybe attempt a new synopsis with this genre in mind
