this post made me look this game up and i instantly bought it and now i need to go to bed before i stay up irresponsibly late flipping a coin

i got my gotr robes done (and spooned the pet right at the end) and now my mmo time is making blood runes in zeah while i watch shit and its awesome

so much of the discourse around this game is people just refusing to admit that their tastes are tastes and acting like they're some Objective Truths of Game Design, and it makes it hard to find a place where i can really honestly talk about what i do and don't like

hell, i do this before i know the maps at all just cause i read maps for fun as a kid so i like having to read the map to figure out where i am instead of having the game just tell me outright, and i like that the game rewards me for having developed that skill, even if the reward is small

at first i saw it and said "oh fuck off" but i gotta admit it felt REALLY good to get consistent with avoiding the "forced" swim

the secret bench has a tradeoff that i didn't like in the moment but the more i think about it the more i like it where it's SIGNIFICANTLY harder to avoid getting maggots if you use it. it's possible to do a VERY precise clawline jump to avoid it but if you fuck it up you're taking a swim
