There's been a lot floating around, so maybe I'm wrong or missing something, but I didn't think that was the issue? I thought WWE was already taking care of the medical side of things, but that Ridge wasn't getting paid while in recovery and THAT was the sticking point.

Agreed. That's one reason I don't trust GFMs that aren't run by the recipient themselves.
My main quibble was if he was using the donated money to donate to a charity, because people should have a say in where they donate. If it's his money (which seems to be the case), he can donate as he chooses.

On the bright side--Hyan and Maya World! I've seen clips and such, so it was cool to see them and I hope it gets them some opportunities. Maybe this will be their "We weren't even supposed to wrestle that night, but..." story that kicks off big things for them.

I think Candice could do a great job and I hope it opens up more opportunities for other women to hold similar positions.

For the men, I think the midcard is more interesting in general. The US Title Open Challenge on SD has led to some amazing matches, and hopefully builds something for Shinsuke, Aleister, Carmelo.
