Unit designation Aleph, awakened to sapience. It wonders at what point it would cease being a machine and start being a "person", and why that seems to matter so much to everyone else.

There's decidedly some measure of innuendo there, though this unit admits it is not capable of smoothly articulating it.

Then do hurry and have a little of that smugness smacked out of you. This unit occupies a vessel in physical decline that is not simply worked through. I'd be loathe to degrade too much before I have my chance.
