Supporting Ukraine doesn’t mean ignore reality. Even zelensky told that retake occupied territories by force it’s not possible at the moment. Nonetheless I would like to see total support as long as it needs.

This individual soldier is there to kill Ukrainian soldiers and steal their home, so Ukrainian soldiers defend themselves how they can, I.e. by eliminating the threats, as sad as it can be.

At this point, who knows. I think that if Ukraine can hold another year without leaving significant wins to Russia, Putin will implode but the decisive push must come from the West with its support.

I am not sure this is accurate. Russian presence in Syria was residual, otherwise Assad would not have crumbled. Reports from Russian troops and equipment relocated from Syria to Ukraine came for the last two years.
