Wrong. The Sanhedrin (Jewish court) turned Jesus over to Pilate for the Romans to crucify since the Sandedrin and Jewish government in general was subordinate to Rome and denied the authority to inflict capital punishment on their own. If THEY’D killed Jesus, He would’ve stoned, not crucified.

I read the law in question. Only the Secretary of DEFENSE can do that. Pete changed it to the Secretary of WAR, but the law was passed by Congress saying “Secretary of DEFENSE.”
