Awesome find! I'm not Australian or an entomologist, but it kinda looks like a Hemipteran in the genus Nabis to me. Maybe Nabis stenoferus?

Tried editing one of these to see if I could improve the visibility at all, and I think it turned out alright for a quick-and-dirty, 30-second edit on my phone
