There is no solution and the development that marks one conference year from a later one is, well ... epochal; it's AI itself. It has arrived seemingly suddenly and at it its most basic runs on innumerable, energy guzzling searches.

I heard this interview and had two thoughts. The targeting of specific areas of the body is a new depth of evil. Moreover, it demands extraordinary marksmanship. Could it be that programmed weapons or even AI is involved?

Joanne, There was a time when "political violence" referred to rhetorical violence, and this was the very definition of terrorism, i.e. victims being no more than a message. I'll now pay more att. to "violence as politics" All the best with your webcast.

There's quite a deep philosophical problem here. The entire push to install devices is based on individual motivation, i.e. it can happen only if customers see a financial return in a short period. However, there is a public good in mass installation and this forms no part of the discussion.
