it's stupid to be getting emotional about it, but, it feels like we sorta went through our own genesis arc with his name. katsutoshi has been my name for him for years, so it's so weird to change it

but, i feel like seiya is a better reflection of how much more open he's become since that quest

immediately after finding the name, me and my partner both locked onto seiya and its meaning

it both had an energy that fit with the trans headcanons from ourselves and fanon, but also it immediately made me think of this part of the genesis quest

so, it stuck
