I’m an avid Colts fan! Father and husband by day, CNC Machinist by night. I enjoy a good intellectual debate to better learn why people’s opinions are what they are in life.
Yep it ended in 2024. The organization said it failed due to the lack of reliable infrastructure such as internet and electricity in these areas. You just wish they would have thought of that beforehand and put that money towards a more relevant project for these areas.

The project was aimed at the farmers specifically to help them find buyers for their harvests online but was ultimately deemed ineffective after 4 years, per the organization that ran the project. I can cite some project info if you wanna learn more about it.

One example is USAID approving a $450k grant to an organization whose mission was to provide computer literacy training to farmers in rural parts of Nigeria, where electricity isnt reliable. Why waste tax-dollar like that? If we wanna help them, check the basics first like safe water infrastructure.

I’ve wondered this too. Really Japan just wanted access to resources and to occupy and stop communism in China. Germany considered the Japanese “honorary Aryans” at the time but how long would that exemption have held up? I’m glad we never found out! lol

Protesting at home can be even more important than street protests! Call, email, mail your representatives daily, start or spread online petitions. Spread awareness on social media. Ensure the time and place of the next protest is well-known and spread online. You can make a difference!

I like to think that without those wiling to sacrifice for our country, like the selfless Marines in WW2, we’d all actually be speaking Japanese! lol. The countless battles on the islands of the Pacific were brutal. Read some personal accounts of Marines who survived. Soul-crushing.

Yes! The staggering wealth at the top does not happen by being generous to your employees and truly taking care of them. It happens by overworking and exploiting them with little pay. Unfortunately, those businesses that do care will never become massive due to treating their people well. 😢

I think your ideals in this matter do and would work well on a micro scale but on a larger scale, where hundreds or thousands are involved it would prove futile and really counterproductive.

My fear is that any violence would do more harm than good. Violence against an authoritarian regime led by such an egotistical man will lead to a disproportional response such as martial law or the insurrection act, which would be constitutionally allowed during an insurrection.

I like and agree with your concept of war. War is getting your butt out the door and protesting loudly yet peacefully, calling your state reps daily, staging economic blackout dates, boycotting certain goods and so much more. Contrary to the OP, we don’t have to be willing to die to fight back.

War between who? Republicans and Democrats? That would make for an awkward Thanksgiving this year! lol. Really tho I’m curious on how you think it’d go. If one of your YouTube videos better explain id gladly watch and we can continue to discuss afterwards.

I feel for you and am truly sorry that we the people and our government have failed to provide you and many others enough for the most basic necessities. It’s disgusting that they’d rather pander to the few rich than literally save lives by helping the poor. But how would violence help?

I feel a rift between MAGA and traditional Republicans happening. Soon something will happen that makes blue and red come together in a bipartisan effort to oppose the current regime.

I completely understand your frustration with the current administration and inaction from democrats. Saying that, give it some time to correct itself democratically. I already see a rift starting between Republicans and MAGA and am confident bipartisan action will be taken if necessary.

The right action is to fight by voting in the midterms. Soon, many Republicans will realize their seat will be gone if they allow MAGA to continue this path. Currently, the only Republicans rebuking MAGA are lame ducks who don’t care about losing party funds for speaking out.
