My experience has been the same. I started with C# as my first strongly typed language. As much as I didn’t like some of the semantics, I found myself longing for type safety. Hence, Go.

BeautifulSoup is one. Scrapy is another. Puppeteer in the Node ecosystem is another useful tool. None of them “just do it automatically”. All of them require some level of programming effort. But those are some easy libs to get started!
