That's how it works. The event runs for a specific amount of time, then when it's done a new one starts and the one that just finished gets archived. On your pic do you see the exact same event down next to events of other characters? That's where it stays. 1 day from now a new event will start.

I don't play EN because I'm already on the JP server but something you should know is that events in HBR get archived. They don't disappear forever. Relax and play at your own pace, it just means that a new event is coming up and the one currently there will just be set aside.
